I use this quite often to add a hint of smokiness when salt is required in a recipe. Just made a nut mix with it for some birthday gifts - and honestly, I'm not a huge hazelnut fan when they are mixed in various nut mixes. But ... aiyiyiyi! I'd use ONLY hazelnuts mixed with this particular recipe if I had nothing else! But there are so many times that I use it, I can't even remember everything I've cooked with it. This was the first time we purchased it, but I can see it becoming a staple in my spice cabinet!
