Ingredients
• 3 large apples, such as Honeycrisp, Gala or Fuji
• 3 tablespoons chopped walnuts
• 3 tablespoons raisins
• 2 tablespoons brown sugar

• ¼ cup apple juice or water

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. Cut the apples in half from top to bottom. Carefully remove the cores, creating a small well in the center of each apple half.
3. Arrange the apples cut side up in a baking dish.
4. In a small bowl, combine the walnuts, raisins, brown sugar, Ceylon Cinnamon and a small pinch of Himalayan Pink Salt.
5. Spoon the mixture into the center of each apple half.
6. Drizzle the apples lightly with Butter EVOO, making sure a little reaches both the filling and exposed apple.
7. Pour the apple juice or water into the bottom of the baking dish. Cover loosely with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
8. Remove the foil and continue baking for another 5–10 minutes, until the apples are tender but still hold their shape and the filling is warm and caramelized.
9. Spoon a little of the warm liquid from the baking dish over the apples before serving.
