- 1 large head of broccoli
- 1 egg
- 1/2 an onion
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1/3 cup Parmesan
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1 tsp of Olive Oil Divine's Hawaiian Black Salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Olive Oil Divine's Koroneiki Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- You can also use one of our other EVOOs, such as Lemon Pepper or Cilantro Lime
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and line 2 trays with parchment paper.
Chop the broccoli into florets, removing the hard parts of the stem. Place the florets and soft parts of the stem into a food processor and chop it on pulse. Add the egg, onion, garlic, flour, and Parmesan. Pulse until blended. Stir in the salt and pepper.
Make around 10 fritters on the trays, leaving space between each fritter. Lightly grease the fritters with a bit of olive oil spray or brush a small amount of olive oil onto each one.
Bake for 12-15 minutes on each side until golden. You can also pan-fry them over medium heat.
